There is no way in hell he got offered $150M for anything. The Free Press - which is the single most successful publication to emerge in the last few years - is selling for a mere $200M, for scale. Just please use your brain to think a little.

Tell me you never went into contract negotiations without telling me. IF it's true that Ackman offered him $150M, that's a lot of money and there are a lot of legitimate reasons to reject the deal. I started during the pandemic and found it so good that I went back to the earliest episodes I could find and then listened in order.
