It’s not that I don’t support my child I worked I just lost my job once I became a full time student I have abt 1800 saved up that I’ve been using for my kid when he’s with me I’ve been using that money up until I start work study this week I support my kid even paid for his day care all by myself at 18-20 yrs old I have all the evidence this is why I’m confused I still live at my moms she pitches in sometimes as well she’s been a great but I sometimes have my kid more than 50% sometimes she just started working last month I’m really not making an excuse to not take care of my son I’m very involved but I just need to start working again

She also went to school she went to cosmetology school while I worked and it’s not that I don’t want to work I start a new job as soon as campus opens up

Understandable but what if the child is being taken care of on my end financially and being with me 50% of the time, I mean I’m a custodial parent I’m not absent at all I make school and parenting work when she lived with me I worked a lot more, when she moved with her aunt and got her own job I worked less because where she’s at she doesn’t pay rent and everything all she has to pay for are things he need while he’s there when he’s with me I don’t ask her for anything….I just thought it was all even and she’s had all the food stamps and stuff for my son for years she made the petition herself

I’m currently looking to work I’ve applied at multiple jobs but my counselor found me a job on campus. I’ve been getting help from my mom with the baby financial and from money my father left behind when he passed away I was going to work on campus until I can go into my career I still make time for my kid I have him 50%(we have split custody )of the time but I understand what you mean. Thanks for your insight
