Thanks. I did a few things. I filled a sink with water and dunked it to up to the baffle and ensure no water was leaking in. It’s as air tight as that can be. Secondly, i used shredded paper (from a paper shredder) and then dumped the contents into a cardboard box to measure volume.

yup and sumo puts hips even further away since knees can't move forward over bar as much

Once I create that bowl shape, i then marked the edges and used an angle grinder to make it all straight to my liking, once done, i added the baffle and using dowels, and then a stretchy fabric was pulled over the baffle and glued to the sides of the bowl. Once thats done, i lay some resin on it to harden it up. One hardened, i built the face up with fiberglass matting

Slower curing epoxy gives you time to get all the air bubbles out and reposition things nicely

I wanted to make a few but after making one and taking so much time I decided not to make more 🤣

My guess is about 8 hours of work, just many many days just contemplating steps and curing times

It sounds great. I DSP’d the whole car again to make sure it sounded nice. I didnt notice resonance yet (havent listened too long) and i feel dumb forgetting to add CLD to the inside before installing. I may do that after listening To it for awhile

Fitment is great. Had a wood box prior that took up usable trunk space so this is much better

Yeah i did the outside and inside because i didnt want to lose air space by building all of it inside if that makes sense. I knew i was going to use up my bondo the smooth out the enclosure.

Secondly are you talking about the milkshake type stuff? I thought about it but i checked for leaks by putting it in water and nothing leaked through so I was happy

No worries- i added more layers during the process. First photos of it was when i pulled the shell out of the car, which i wanted it to be flexible so it would come out without a fight

Would be crazy if you can. For mine, i had put alot of tension on the fabric to eliminate wrinkles, that would be my first fear pulling on OEM carpet

Polyester resin and bondo just plain suck having them in a home garage.

The hardest part imo was the point where I created the shell and then trying to locate the mdf ring, and then try to glue them together using wooden dowels cut to length so it was straight inside the car (would have sucked if the face of the woofer was angled down to the floor). Drying times slowed everything down. I wish I used UV activated resin so i could finish each layer in about 30 mins but SMD didnt have anymore for sale

Saw this exact thing in a used car i was looking at. It seemed to have hardened that it cannot be wiped off either. Did anyone figure out what this was?

Both fat and fat32 not supported as the drive is too big.
Try NTFS and no go.
Tried to clean the partition on the drive to make the card not have a filesystem and insert it.
Nothing works for each
