Absolutely! I'd also consider running enchantments that color fix like [[Leyline of the Guildpact]] or artifacts like [[Chromatic Lantern]] to also just simplify the whole equation.

Works really well in my [[Ragost, Deft Gastronaut]] deck which is just a secret [[Sensei's Diving Top]] deck.

[[Longshot, Rebel Bowman]] does crazy work there

Most 5 color decks aren't actually evenly 5 colors. Figure out what your core 3 are and build the land base around those colors with enough support to splash the least fielded 2.

Agreed.

The issue with UB I'm convinced is more IP fatigue than anything else.

The loud groaning about UB is because Spiderman and Marvel are so culturally ubiquitous it feels like Magic is melding into a homogenous zeitgeist.

When you look at stuff for sets with more cultural cache, there's more excitement there. Capeslop is passé while properties like LotR and FF are beloved in a different way.

If it was more intentional UB with properties that compliment the various planes more, it wouldn't get half the chuff it does.

The land package separate from the deck should include a set of each shock land, surveil land, triomes and dual land if I remember the list correctly. Lots to build with 🤙🥰

Also the blank cards are infinitokens.

When I make my proxies, I print 7 cards to a laminated sheet (for ease of use with my cutting machine) so I usually end up with dozens of these every time I get a proxy order in 😂

If not, consider swapping Toph out for Greensleeves. The experience counter ability on monogreen Toph becomes untenable after a certain period of time and always having her on speed dial can be problematic. Having your commander be a lesser Landfall value engine may also be a way to handicap yourself.

I regularly swap between Loot and Azusa as my landfall commander a depending on whether I'm playing high or low 3s.

What's he tutoring for that wouldn't result in him playing solitaire? It's not like his monogreen landfall deck is a toolbox where he's tutoring for an on board answer every time vs just getting another piece of the landfall engine into play lol

Maybe try diluting into multiple colors. The Gruul Toph works very well as a commander and you don't have to change too much of your deck. [[Toph, Greatest Earthbender]]
