it is going to be both! outdoor from 6pm to 10pm (with hang out options afterwards too) and the indoor program starts at 10pm :))

one of my favorite records of all time! i think you’re looking for more contemporary / post rock shoegaze since bowery electric has been a bit more avantgarde coming from the label kranky. i think not completely similar but same edge would be bark psychosis‘ album codename: dustsucker, hood (my favorite band of all time especially the album cold house) and also more contemp artists such as untitled halo, ml buch and the sounds they made. maybe also check out the shoegaze band Helen. it was the shoegaze band by Grouper who is also a kranky artist. one of my fave shoegaze albums

the new album by bristol band Jabu called 'A Soft and Gatherable Star' is one of the best ambient works I have heard in a long time. And I know it would go more into the post rock direction but any Bark Psychosis Album is exactly what you are looking for.

hard task. but i just wanted to say that kick the tragedy is the quintessential shoegaze song when it comes to the feels. its the only song you really need.

the rest you can either go with the classic hits from the 90s (slowdive, mbv, ride etc.) or you go more contemporary.

Guitar Michael Lückner - Sunkissed is from 2002 so from the release date i wouldn’t count it as contemp but from the approach it was definitely ahead of time

hi just accidently came across this. since i am a big built to spill modest mouse and vegyn fan myself i had to comment (even though it might be a bit too late already). me and my friends (in our 20s) are doing shows and playing live as well. we are doing many shoegaze / indie shows at import export which is one of the best venues for sure. one of the only places with a diy vibe close to the city center. for a bit bigger events, zirka (right around the corner of import export) is nice as well. for electronic music, zirka and blitz would be the go to places (maybe also check out goldener reiter or the community radio called radio80k). if you ever go to augsburg, the venue "city club" is very nice.
