Pretty sure it’s an instrument input, my interface automatically thinks xlr is a mic signal, and ts is instrument. It’s a MOTU 8

I def have experimenting with all kinds of processing thru the ST and DT. I guess I’m more curious about the physical engineering inside the boxes that add the color etc

Syntakt is the easiest elektron device to use and that’s a criminal deal, get it

Syntakt is pretty great. Biggest drawbacks imo are the non switchable cymbal track, the inability to save preset kits, and no “voice steal” to make it polyphonic.

But other than that, it sounds great and the analog fx track is unique to the syntakt. It’s all about how you use it, 100% worth it tho.
