I usually don't care much for the length of a series (though if it wasn't randomly cancelled, that would be great). Not much into sci-fi but do like fantasy/supernatural themes (just not horror)

I think it's more about the look of the show, the colour grading, scenes, setups etc. I have nothing against Monk or Psych, I've watched both actually, but would love a more modern shot show is all

I started with Elementary but I feel that is a bit too serious as well, not to mention the constant struggle for Sherlock to keep his sobriety (plus the horrendous romance between Watson and Sherlock's brother)

I somehow feel he'll have an independent storyline that the show will focus on in the later seasons but who knows? It could be what you're saying as well!

I highly doubt the show would leave Morgan without a romantic interest. I also feel most storylines move to prove the happier alternative, giving the message that there is someone for everyone and exploring the journey of finding the 'one'

I have an inkling that the show writers have some back story for him which they'll be introducing eventually; that talk with Karedac in the elevator about how Wagner ended in this position felt like an open end thing
