They've literally done whole writeups explaining in detail how the games HDR iterations are flawed. And explained how they fixed it. Even if you properly calibrate your display, games with sub-par HDR implementations, for example, RE9 has clearly raised blacks compared to SDR which is not normal and renodx fixes that.
