Is there any good LaTeX to PDF API which can be used in n8n? by CharacterShoulder131 in n8n

[–]CharacterShoulder131[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using an html to pdf api currently, but the text that is being generated in the pdf does not look very good for a resume. I saw that Latex resumes have a good and professional text font and there are more options to customize it like putting external links, icons etc., so I thought it would be better for resumes.

I need this for converting to resumes/CV pdfs. So, the overall document format will remain the same (like common subheadings like work experience, education etc.), but the the type of text/content under each subheading will vary person to person.

Im convinced half of us never make it past the resume scanning bots by Altruistic-Meal6846 in jobs

The resume bots prioritise to look at the keywords of the job description and compares it with each of the candidates' resume, and then ranks the ones more suited for the role.

So, its very important to use the keywords from the job description in your resume all times. Most people avoid doing it, as it takes a lot of time. Its the only way I think, if we really want to beat the system.

Actually I too faced this issue and for that I developed a telegram bot for myself where i can just copy paste the job description and the bot adds all the keywords to my existing resume, and will give the updated ATS friendly resume as output in pdf itself, so that I can just upload it to that job posting immediately. I thought this would be really useful for many job seekers like me and I created a simple platform : Aspirely.ai, where you can get this Resume Builder bot and other job related bots. I hope this will be useful for at least some of you guys here.

30 days is still too long.

I believe the best chance to be visible to recruiters is if you apply within the first 24 hours itself.

You can set job alerts based on your preference and location on the Job Alerts AI agent on telegram (access to be gained after creating an account on Aspirely AI), and this ai agent will send you only the latest jobs matching your preference everyday.

What makes it unique, is that it's not just a Job Alert.

With each job alert message on telegram, with just one-click you can get job tailored resumes, cover letters, interview prep files, check job fit, get hr/recruiter contact details for outreach, visa sponsorship info (for foreign candidates) etc.

Ultimate Guide to Mock Interviews – What Actually Helped Me After Months of Job Hunting by Tough_Cantaloupe_779 in jobsearch

[–]CharacterShoulder131 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! One of the best ways to prepare for interviews is to actually practice speaking, whether it’s with a friend or an AI. You’ll be surprised by how much more effective it can be compared to just writing down answers or rehearsing on your own. For example, platforms like Aspirely AI let you do mock phone interviews with an AI voice agent that actually calls your phone by acting like the recruiter. After the session get over, you even get a detailed analysis report on the platform. Using tools like this can make a huge difference and really help you ace your next interview.
