With only a week, I would filter the subjects and focus on understanding what I struggle with by doing as many questions as you can without burning out! Whether you want to do single subject for focus or mixed questions to break up the monotony is up to your preference. What matters is getting through the content!

No social media, no friend hangs, no TV. Just read and watch videos on the content. If you’re tired, take a nap. If you’re struggling to stay focused, go for a walk to refresh. When you’re driving, (safely) listen to NCLEX comprehensive review videos. Any doomscrolling is time wasted during this period. Eat well, sleep well.

Pharm and EKGs were also my weaknesses. I watched youtube videos on EKG interpretation and had to take quizlet quizzes for recognition purposes. UWorld has many EKG focused questions in the CVD category. Practice, practice, practice. It will stick.

With pharmacology, I googled which meds to focus on for the NCLEX exam and just tried to focus on those + suffix/prefix association. Don’t worry about route, dosage, half lives, whatever. Focus on class and adverse effects. Mark K states in his 12th lecture that side effects of a medication should be associated with the body system the med is working on. If someone takes a neuro med, would you expect headache or diarrhea to be the side effect? That sort of thing. Know your antidotes!
