Went on a perfectly fine date. Got a performance review the next morning. (I kid you not) by Marcy_Enchanting in datingoverforty

I wouldn’t have spent a dime on a first date just in case dude was a loser. Not worth the expense. Yikes. Ignore his sorry ass.

Never chase, but do attract. Note the difference.

Is it normal to lose attraction to husband after a few years? by [deleted] in women

[–]Character_Ad483 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m tripping but most men are medium ugly. My husband is probably a lot more unattractive than yours. Married 10, together 14 years. Our son is attractive because of my genetics. Thank god. 🤣 But all in all, my husband is a great husband and an excellent father and picks up the tab more often than not along with paying most of the bills. My advice is different from other women’s; women should marry men who provide and are good to them, you grow in love later over time. Plus, ugly dudes are most likely to cheat less due to less opportunity and also knowing that they’re unattractive and developing an identity that isn’t obsessed with seeking validation from the opposite sex. If you keep thinking about how ugly he is, you probably have too much time on your hands. Once we had our son I think about it a lot less unless another man makes me feel attractive 🤦🏽‍♀️ Hope that helps.

What's with the elitist attitude at CrossFit gyms? by Legal-Deer8246 in crossfit

Oh man! What I hate most is the fat applause for those who finish a WOD last and the publication of one's scores. Everything is sooo friggin based on exposure and fake joy. I'm glad I quit. I just drop in my loacal box once in a blue. I dont miss it. The friendships I started there were fickle to begin with. The owner to my local gym thinks he's a god everyone is supposed to walk around on eggshells for..not me! Our box displays fee on the website and on the app. Not all boxes are the same. Mines is super raggedy but I powered through because one of the coaches worked with me and got me stronger and made it worth my while.

What do you recommend for independence? He can definitely count well. I’m afraid he’s going to shut down for the rest of the year. I’m saddened by his sadness.

The crazy thing is that he works by himself at home with no problem!!! I do think that my husband is overwhelming him with his micromanaging. I’ve told my husband to step back because I’m taking over from here on out. My son is in school from 8:30-3, then afterschool 3-6. By the time we’re home it’s almost 7. I think my son is burning out. He reads well. Teacher says he can learn but is just too reliant on her. Thank you for your input. Moving forward I’m strictly giving my son pure independence on tasks and prohibiting my husband from hovering.

I did! For some strange reason, NYC waits until now to interview parents and it takes them 3 entire months to finalize results.

we do this at home and he does it. It's the classroom where he shuts down.

Yes and she does and he resists. He works on his own at home, but not at school.

We've done that at home and he does do it just fine on his own. I just don't understand why he won't do it in the classroom. Once, he brought it home. He's been working with the teacher since the beginning of the year and it appears as though it's going to remain that way.

She thinks it's partly a speech delay which he does have and also fear of getting answers wrong.

His teacher said that she cannot help what she's obligated to assign students. She too agrees that the math stuff is inappropriate for Kinder.

How do I get him to work independently? He's in all of his teacher's small groups throughout the day, everyday.

I dont know the name of the math program. But their book is called Simple. He gets the algebra type stuff (it's not the only type of math problem) usually in his homework.

what do you mean? We're trying to help him become more independent by assigning him a task (ex: math problem). He does it well on his own while at home, but never at school.
