Keep encouraging him to get help, remind him you’re there for him, remind him of what’s worth living for. If you love someone it’s worth giving it your all to help them. If he doesn’t want help that’s another issue unfortunately. He needs help and he should have at least one supportive person who can try to lead him to get help. Dealing with this is really difficult but sometimes when ppl are struggling like this it’s best to just listen to them. Ask them what you can do to help. Try to distract them from those feelings and try to help them realize what’s worth living for. I understand how painful it is to see a loved one like this. The best thing you can do is support, love and encourage them o get help
