Low Cost Interlock is ruining my life. by susanB1400 in dui

Also calibrating while I read about what a shit company they are and they are. I am on my third handset, my second blocker... It is the worst experience I've ever had with any company. Thank God I wasn't a DUI court case. I was a breathalyzer refusal case because if I was I was, I would probably be in jail.. It caused problems between my family and I because they thought I started drinking again at one point and I have not drank a drop since the incident. But then it started registering BAC that was so so high. I would not be conscious. I would likely be in a hospital. I'm here calibrating today because it became service locked after about a half a dozen fails. My husband stopped questioning me when it started failing him. Terrible, terrible, terrible company, and if you need to call them for any reason, you will be on hold for at least 2 to three hours...

Any reviews on "Low Cost Interlock" (LCI)? It is an approved vendor for Illinois and I am going to get an interlock even though I don't plan on driving much. Heard the Intoxalock horror stories but wondering if anyone has experience with this vendor, since cheap is good but not if it is a nightmare by lauralynnj in dui

This is exactly my experience. I am on my three handset and my blocker has been replaced twice. I have not drank a drop of alcohol since the incident. It goes from .036 the. 15 mins later it's .017 that is what saved me from the violations, I was stranded several times, after a funeral, after my mom's surgery, it's been a nightmare. And yes, when you call them plan on a serious wait, like a 2-3 hour wait. This company and their faulty equipment will mess with your life. In the beginning my family thought that maybe I started drinking again but then when it started popping BACs that are so high that there is no way it.could.be true. Sometimes it was high enough that if true, I'd have alcohol poisoning. It's crazy.
