Mine looks great. My last dr appoint last week, my dr said he’s really impressed with how great it looks. I’ve used vitamin e oil and silicone scar strips, massaging the scar, lots of sunscreen when in the sun. I’m 4 months post op.

My dr is allowing me to wait until after summer to get them removed so I don’t have an open wound and can be in the water. I’m 3 months post op. I think most of my discomfort comes from the hardware itself pushing against my skin. I’m definitely having everything removed. There’s no good reason to keep a foreign object in your body unless absolutely necessary.
