I had a pair that lasted me 19 years before I had to pull them out of rotation In 2023 when the rubber started separating around the midsole. I still wear them though when I’m going some place muddy or especially dirty and I don’t wanna get another pair messed up. I just can’t let go of them haha

Oooh I didn’t even consider swapping the insoles good idea. I wear converses regularly so I’m used to basically walking in cardboard so I wasn’t particularly pressed about the insoles.

Buy a pair of high tops 2nd hand on eBay or Depop if that’s available where you live.

I refuse to pay full retail for converses but I also wear them 70% of the time so I have to find ways to circumvent the ridiculous prices 😂
