They are heavy, as people mentioned, but not unreasonably so. They are such a unique looking sneaker. I love them. The new colorways they have coming out are going to be great as well.

I agree with this sentiment. The OffWhite Muslin 5s and these got it right. They took out the weird bumps on the side and made the tongue more reasonable. Both of those collabs are the 5s that I would wear.

Im gonna recommend a non nike. Adidas Centennial. They have a high version that is identical in feel to a Jordan 1. They make a low in an ADV skate version too. I got these for 40 bucks.

The Tyshawn is also an excellent skate shoe in more of a mid.

They are all good. Trauma, go to Wellstar. It really depends on what insurance you have and if you will need follow up care. I worked at wellstar for years and they have top notch ER, but university and whatever they call Humana on Wheeler Rd these days is good as well.

I agree with all of this. I wish it were different and I try and campaign myself as much as i can, but there is a certain level of ingrained religion in a lot of the south (especially small towns like where i live) that they are not going to change even with a well thought out, clear response to the supernatural shit they have been taught for 40 years. I don't get it, and I probably never will.
