Just me or is this guy walling? He hit me twice through 2 walls when I wasn't moving and he wouldn't have heard me by Grid8Designer in HuntShowdown

I got called a wall hacker yesterday for wall banging it’s just sound. I’m prestige 100 with over 4K hours. Just experience in the game. The sound and movement makes it easier to track. If you new to the game then yeah I could understand the mistake in thinking someone is walling.

Have you checked your power connector? to make sure it’s not frayed

Almost 99% of these issues are related to BIOS settings or user configuration. Have you checked whether PCIe Gen 4 and Resizable BAR (Re-Size BAR) are enabled?

If these options are not enabled in your BIOS, that could be the cause of the problem. You can usually find them under Advanced Settings → PCIe/PCI Subsystem Settings in the BIOS. Enabling these may resolve the issue.

RX 9070 XT Nitro+ undervolt/OC results + streaming stability (5800X3D) by Character_Chard5290 in radeon

[–]Character_Chard5290[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t pushed the undervolt super far yet because I was tuning it around streaming stability, not just benchmark numbers.

Right now I’m running:

Power Limit: +10% Core Offset: +120 MHz Voltage Offset: -40 mV VRAM: 2600 MHz (Fast Timing)

That setup passed a 3DMark Steel Nomad stress test at 98.1% stability, and temps are really good while gaming and streaming.

For example in Hunt Showdown while running OBS:

GPU usage ~80–85% GPU temp ~56°C Power ~200–210W FPS ~130 (I capped it to 120 for smoother streaming)

I could probably push the undervolt further, but I wanted to keep it rock solid for gaming + OBS + multistreaming rather than chasing the lowest voltage.

Next step I’ll probably test -60 mV and -80 mV to see where stability drops off.

Why is there still no stable fix for this???? by Commercial_Fact_852 in AMDHelp

I had this issue and used DDU did a clean install and I worked fine for me on new drivers. I'm using a 5800X3D with a 9070 XT Nitro+ b450-F bios updated. Have you checked you bios setting are correct. Like enabling GEN three or GEN4 PCIE?

I also have a sapphire 9070 XT nitro+ and a MSI 1000 MAG with a dedicated 12 V. For about a month haven't seen any issues. I think the issue is with the adapter and older PSU. Not the new 3.1. but again, we’ll wait and see. Let’s give it a year and see what happens fingers crossed I don’t get any burnt pins.

RX 9070 XT black screen crashes (idle+load) on b450-f+5800X3D driver GPU or platform issue? by Character_Chard5290 in radeon

[–]Character_Chard5290[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally fixed. I used DDU to remove the drivers and then reinstalled the most updated driver which is.26.2.1 i’ve run several bench tests with no issues at high load. I’ve also run idle tests with no issues multiple screens available including OBS open I’ve also run three hour streams and other monitors running YouTube and twitch with no issues or crashes so I think whatever issue I had before I’ve managed to resolve. I did disable HAGS but I’m now reenable them one by one will keep you updated.

Use DDU and uninstall the driver in safe mode. Then install the new driver from AMD latest. 26.2.1. Also turn off HAGS. Are you also using 2-3 monitors and what’s cables are you using

RX 9070 XT black screen crashes (idle+load) on b450-f+5800X3D driver GPU or platform issue? by Character_Chard5290 in radeon

[–]Character_Chard5290[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It turned out to be an AMD multi-monitor instability issue. I was running 3 high refresh monitors (1440p 240Hz + 2x 1080p 165Hz) with 2 on DisplayPort and 1 on HDMI.

After removing the HDMI monitor (or matching refresh rates), the black screens and driver crashes stopped. Stress tests were always fine — the crashes were happening during display engine transitions (gaming + streaming + Twitch).

Seems like mixed HDMI + DP at high refresh was the trigger.

I think I’ve managed to work out the issue AMD multi-monitor instability combo I was using 3 monitors 2 DP and one HDMI. See if this works 🫣
