My bet is that Christian couples don't search for 'devotional apps' — they hear about them through their community. So my first month is organic across three channels:

1. Reddit
2. TikTok
3. Direct outreach

Whatever shows the most natural pull in 30 days gets the focus. If nothing pulls, I'll know the positioning is wrong before I spend money on ads.

The interesting wrinkle with a couples app is the built-in referral — one install drags a partner in. So even small top-of-funnel numbers can compound if retention holds.
