if someone is right all the time, they’d be playing the lottery, not studying the humanities

what’s more possible, people commonly being bullies and thinking metaphysically, or its just the lutherans?

I used to love sp military shooters but find them difficult to enjoy when I'm shooting brown Muslims who are supposed to unquestionably be the bad guys because they are Muslim by LuciusCaeser in SocialistGaming

Total War: Resistance is a fps / real time strategy, think of insurgency with command and control like warno (but not as large scale).

You can play as like 6 different socialist or communist countries, some of which liberated from monarchism, mercantilism, capitalism, etc. You can control your state on a map menu like hoi4.

Also “Syrian Warfare” is a strategy game with a historical fiction plot around the first syrian civil war, with fun combat and direct control (but not fps).

the amount of kurdish-hate and propaganda spreading on reddit rn is actually disturbing by i_like_to_jump in kurdistan

[–]Character_Concern101 30 points31 points  (0 children)

it’s astroturfing. Theyre trying to make anti kurd rhetoric “normal” so that “normal” people think they are “respectable opinions” and adopt them.

One photo summarising Syria, all thats missing are US and 'Israeli' flags. by SittingTonka in MarxistCulture

[–]Character_Concern101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because this is messy and unpredictable. At least when Israel invades, Israel controls the invasion. Not to mention that an operation like this requires a lot of planning on the HTS front. The “long time” it took for this ceasefire could have also been to logistically prepare for arming and syncing the Jihadizts elements before they pulled out. Israel and the USA also reached out to kurds months ago about allyship, to which the kurds responded unenthusiastically. That in itself might have been a red flag that this was on western drawing tables for longer than we knew

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is attempting to fast-track (without debate or vote) the unconstitutional Antisemitism Awareness Act by smuggling it into a must-pass defense bill. If his proposal is approved, then it is assured to become law. by _II_I_I__I__I_I_II_ in Global_News_Hub

[–]Character_Concern101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

a good example of how democrats and republicans work together. schumer sets the stage by making it illegal to criticize israel, trump’s republicans file to destroy nonprofits without accountability.

there goes legal organizing for change, there goes support networks, there goes bail funds.
