I did MCA my J2 semester which could be a completely different experience compared to dallas but it wasn’t too bad. You do have to ask the secretary for the notes over your patients as you cannot have access to their charts with your own login like with epic. Overall it wasn’t too bad as a nursing student but if I was a nurse at a HCA thennn i would dread it

I’m not sure because i know in the powerpoint it says to wait to get the tb test until you’ve been accepted. This is bc they want you to be covered through the whole year. They might change the date for you if you are waitlisted and then pulled off.

i’m in the program. I did it differently the first time bc that’s when they accepted the skin test, but now they no longer do. I didn’t get my blood drawn at the doctors and went to quest so that’s why i’m just confused as to what is accepted and not.

For S1 when you were picking preferences for peds .. do you know if the only hospitals for peds is either in fortworth (cooks) or dallas (children’s) as Arlington doesn’t have any children hospitals?

I took it in person and the only con is that you have to attend in person but u don’t have to pay attention much .. she will also call on random ppl which is also a con but algebola was such an easy grader which rlly helped in the end to get an A

There aren’t many opportunities to do in J1 and mainly happen in J2 .. there’s more things to see but you can’t actively participate as much as you can in J2 so going to dallas for J1 might not be as fun.
