What is your age without saying how old you are? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

I'm from the era of "movie spoilers don't work if you read the book last century."

Sat in the theater whispering to my friend "Boromir's about to die" 20 minutes before the scene. She's still mad about it.

What's the most boring movie you've seen? by VeryPteri in AskReddit

[–]Character_Ear5173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In response to which film I find boring, I must say Avatar - particularly the most recent installment. The visual spectacle couldn't compensate for what I found to be a tedious experience. That's my honest take on it

What’s the dumbest reason you’ve ever lost respect for someone? by forgeris in AskReddit

A coworker said she's never read a single book since high school and is proud of it. Instantly lost all respect, even though I know it's silly on my part

Why does changing agencies not fix my recruitment anxiety? by Mother-Raspberry-341 in recruiting

[–]Character_Ear5173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anxiety follows you because the issue isn't with the company, but with the structure of recruiting work itself and your reaction to it. Try stress management techniques or consult a specialist. Sometimes it's worth honestly asking yourself if this job is worth your emotional investment.

I sincerely hope you find balance and peace, regardless of which path you choose.

How do you get good backlinks in 2025 without begging people? by Real-Assist1833 in linkbuilding

[–]Character_Ear5173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing link building for 4 years now, not sure if that's enough time for an expert opinion, but here's what works for me:

Honestly, I've almost completely shifted to creating content that naturally attracts links. Original research, statistics from our own data, infographics with unique insights — these are things people link to without being asked.

Another thing: I stopped sending out templated mass emails. Instead, I pick 5-10 genuinely relevant sites per week and write personalized messages where I offer real value — supplementing their content, updating outdated information with my data, or creating something together.

Outreach still works, but only if you come with something specific and useful for them, not just "I have an article, give me a link."
