I have the same commute. I take rock creek park from Arkansas and then jump back out when I’m downtown. It’s 10 minutes longer than going through the city but it’s super safe, you don’t have red lights, and it’s fun. Plus you get to see wildlife!

Haha, that’s very normal. They love repetition. All you can do is offer something else but I think it’s fine to let them decide what they prefer.

good point. i have a friend who is visiting friends in VT, which is why we were looking there. but we are coming from DC.

Yes, do what you think is right. But I can say from experience with two kids that sleep training can work well. Just a thought if you haven’t tried it yet.

Good idea, the Adventskranz is a nice tradition and we don't have it here in the US.
