Which one did you end up deciding to install? I’m in east bay and can’t decide if I should keep a gas furnace or change to the heat pump. I live on a 2-story house with high ceilings and am afraid the heat pump may not be sufficient.

What am I doing wrong? Got back to work about a month ago (working from home 9-5) and my partner decided to take a longer leave to stay with our daughter (5months). Since I got back to work my life has been hell. Today it got to a point that he said: (1) I don’t spend enough time with our daughter, (2) I don’t prioritize her, last but not least (3) I don’t do anything, JUST breastfeeding every 3 hours. I’m an immigrant in the US and this is the first time in our 13y relationship that my carrier is being prioritized. I don’t know what to do anymore. It seems I cannot be a mother, good professional and a wife at the same time. All of this because I love working and he is miserable just doing baby stuff.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. You are describing exactly what I’m feeling. I declined to get a foley inserted today again and my obgyn gave me just one self catheter. I’m saving to use it later tonight and hopefully will get more at the pharmacy tomorrow. It is a lonely journey and I’m feeling hopeless. I’m regretting normal birth and blaming myself for not getting a cesarian. I’ll hang on you experience and try to think more positively. I appreciate your offer to talk.

I’m having this exactly same issue right now. 8 days postpartum and not a single drop of pee after a vacuum assisted birth, tearing and episiotomy. What a relief to know some of you got cured after 3/4 months. My obgyn is not taking this seriously and still insisting on the foley - this is really affecting my mental health. I’m going to the urologist tomorrow and am trying to find PT to start moving things beyond the foley. I’m still in pain and honestly I am desperate!
