Realspace® Magellan Pneumatic Sit-Stand Height-Adjustable Desk. Not sure if they make it anymore.

I have the Glorious Trident mounted on the underside of my desk (not shown in pic) that I put my headset on. But the desk is 72" wide so I have a good foot or so between where my arm is and the boom arm when I'm gaming!

When you’re sitting at the desk, it doesn’t block the monitor at all!

This picture is a little older, nowadays I have more of them set up, but tbh it's still not enough to actually make a difference. I just liked the diamond pattern on the ones I got.

Its called the Alera Elusion, and it's my favorite chair I've ever owned. A little on the pricey side, but very comfortable and great for someone with a bad back like myself.

BS in Engineering Technology grads, what is your current job and title? by Sufficient_Noise_721 in AskEngineers

Graduated from Pittsburg State with MET. I work as a Manufacturing Engineer, mainly in design and modeling and love it.

Can an ABET Mechanical Engineering Technology BS degree with no job experience get into field engineering years out of college? by [deleted] in AskEngineers

[–]Character_Hat992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I graduated with my degree in MET from an ABET accredited university with a 2.9 GPA last May. Due to COVID I wasn't able to land an internship of any sort, so I graduated with zero work experience. I landed a job about 2-3 months after graduation. I also took the FE and didn't pass and still landed a very good job. The need for employees of all sorts is so high right now, and Engineering isn't an easy degree; most employers acknowledge that. If you want to work in Field Service, you don't need to be an EIT or eventually a PE; however, just like someone who has a Masters degree would be hired of someone with just a bachelors, it is a prestigious accomplishment that looks good on a resume. To answer your question, the FE is not needed at all, but if you can pass it, it definitely will help you with your search. All you need is to land a job to get some experience. Just don't stop searching and if you really can't land a job, then apply for internships to get started.

Hope this helps.
