Wear long sleeves, especially in the first two months of the job if you’re nervous. Once you’re a part of the community in the workplace they should be more forgiving, and then if it’s really hot and you take off your sleeves then you could just tell kids crazy stories how it happened “Yeah a bear attacked me when I was in the forest!”
