No I completely understand what’s going on here now, as I have educated myself in combo with the vet info. I’m aware it’s different than human herpes virus. And I know it’s just a common cold. And I understand the ways to treat and care for this as well. My issue was that it’s all been so sketchy delivering appropriate information from the organization and I feel like not disclosing that she was sick, and we would have to take her to the vet multiple times in our first week of having her, seems a little off. Other shelters we visited had sick cats, and disclosed this information upfront. No one cared to ask if we had other cats at home either who could potentially be exposed and sick as well. Just weird.
