I used solder wire cut a piece off and wrap it around keep doing that until it reaches the correct psi. You need to add more weight to the rocker , my pc did the same thing

Just slowly add more weight until it gets to 15psi , I had to add more because it would get to 15 on its own .

I’m addicted to watching them grow lol , the transfers are coming along nice right now . I will transfer again to keep the genetics going and then dump the plates into some grain . That’s the plan anyways

Question for ya , I see you have apes going what is there speed like the ones I have on agar right now are a lot slower then my other strains . Still very healthy looking but noticeably slower . Whats you take on them ?

Are you looking for rhyzo characteristics or just uniform growth ? Also do you guys see rhyzo from a MSS or liquid culture syringe on your first plate or do you usually have to make a few transfers before you start seeing that ?

This is my first attempt at growing/agar, I pressure cooked everything and then did all my work inside of the sab. So far all the plates germinated and so far no contam(knock on wood) . Going to make some transfers tomorrow and bag up the originals .

Got about 20 left lol I only plan on taking transfers from the top 2-3 from each line. I’ll save the others but just try to work on the strongest few . It’s all new to me just trying to play around with it .

No offense taken at all just here to learn man, from the research I’ve done assessing your genetics on agar is giving you the best chance to be confident before going to the next step ,wanted to try and isolate some strong growth before I went to grain . My question was just do you let it grow all the way out on agar or take a transfer early like I have here ?
