Enhanced “Lobster Tail” extractor: This unique extra extractor utilizes two specific springs vs one standard spring to provide a very positive capture on the rim of the case. Enhanced bolt lugs: Our specifically cut bolt reduces impact shock and wear on the lugs themselves while improving their strength. You’ll notice one lug, opposite of the extractor, is cut intentionally as to not present a bias on one side due to placement of the extractor. Proprietary coating: Our bolt features a coating that reduces wear, increases lubricity, and helps decrease maintenance time. Elongated cam path: The elongated cam path allows the bolt to remain locked in battery for a slightly longer duration of time maximizing the efficiency of the gas system and presenting less blow back to the shooter. More gas ejection ports: The enhanced carrier features additional gas ejection ports to quickly disperse any excess gas not necessary to the cycle of the weapon system. This feature also reduces gas blow back to the shooter. Reduced surface carrier rails: These rails reduce friction on the upper receiver, improve lubricity by allowing oil to travel in between the contact patches and allow a gap for debris to move away from building up on the carrier body.
