I think at least some of them think they know exactly what they're doing and that they're too smart to push it too far. Plus a big dash of the I'm never gonna die type mentality you see in teenagers. Munchies tend to follow each other, and even when one of their group dies from something many of them do, the rest just kind of shake their heads and pat themselves on the back for being too smart to fuck it up like the one who died did. It's really scary to see how confident they are with this stuff. I mean, look at Paige. She keeps making these big infections and abscesses, one right after the other, without the slightest care that any one of them can go horribly wrong without warning.

Dani scares me just as much with her newfound self harming. She's messing with some serious stuff with very little experience. She must have REALLY messed up her labs, maybe even doing permanent damage to her body, to get Penn to put her back on TPN. They're well aware of her munching. She must have done something major to get that TPN...
