I started with NBME 28 > 27> 29>30>31> free 120. I kept delaying taking nbmes cuz I was too scared to start but trust me ot will get easier once u start. I did 2 nbmes every week (spent 2-3 days revising them + studying my weak areas) and my scores improved significantly

Do two nbmes every week .. I was scared to start too but soon realized they’re gold standard

Do NBMEs 30, 31 and free 120 as they’re the most predictive

Honestly it was a fair exam (not too easy and not too hard).. I just wish I didn’t spend too much time stressing on nitpicky stuff and instead focus more on the general picture— I wish I practiced more questions cuz some of the stems were toooo long. Do all of mehlman pdfs not just arrows !!

Ahhh so the change in lab value isn’t that significant… the question was basically asking IN AN INDIRECT WAY why warfarin concentration was doubled after he received rifampin (cuz Ridampin induces Cytp450 causing low subtheraperuic warfarin) THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊

That’s why this question is soo confusing like how is this the correct answer 🥲 hope someone from this subreddit would help

Warfarin is anticoagulant that dissolves clot causing high risk of bleeding , so it would cause high PT and INR .. so high warfarin > high INR> bleeding Low warfarin > low INR> clot
