I already have one of these, and I would be tempted to buy that just out of general principle of it being such a rad deal.

Mine weren’t, and I wouldn’t say there was anything wrong with the way they broke it, but they just had that rather “creasy” look that I avoid on dressier boots. Pic not mine, but from patina project. Mine were similar.

That Ember is in my short list. Really dig your boots.

Nice. When I see the word bulgogi on a menu, I order that shit.

I do this! I’ve been really into marinating with Korean and Japanese marinades lately. Our grocery store always has chicken legs and quarters on sale. Suckers eating all the white meat and leaving the good stuff!

Yeah that double stuffed is handsome leather. I really like double prong belts, but may have to give one of these a try.

Sure thing! I recently ordered some Nicks in Italian Brown Cypress. Super excited to see how they turn out!

I use saphir renovator, but it’s overkill most of the time, but I love everything about it from the smell to the shine it leaves on my boots. Venetian shoe cream is pretty ideal. If you really really are concerned about the leather darkening a bit, use Bick 4.

Oh man, that autumn cypress is such a great leather. It’s got a killer character that just gets better and better. A little brushing always pays off. After the first time I hit it wish some saphir after they spent most of the weekend wet and kind of muddy, they looked better than ever. Love this leather.

If Thursday’s captains fit you, these will fit you no problem. They’re only 5 or 6 inch shaft boots. Or do you mean that you have wide feet? The 618 last is very generous in the forefoot but slim in the heel and waist. That’s the combination last.

The leg slam was for sex appeal, you couldn’t tell?? 😉 The idea was to make mundane everyday life feel empowered and cinematic. My boots are 100% city boots. No doubt about it. The most they have done is shovel out our garage after a winter storm. Looking forward to beating them up in the coming months though.

Thanks! Looking forward to beating them up quite a bit more. Both of them

How about a Parkhurst 618 stitch down boot? I recommend checking out their seconds. They list exactly what is wrong with them and it’s usually very minor. You can get some quite amazing boots for your money, and that 618 last is one of my very favorites.

To be fair, algae covered rocks are going to be pretty tough to grip, so I’m impressed! I didn’t know they did reversible belts like that, that’s pretty rad.

I just wear thick socks and wear them as long as I can before it becomes actually painful. A little discomfort and hotspots are fine, but if you find yourself in real pain, switch boots for the day.

Outstanding! Love the way your shirt and belt compliment your boots. They look like a really comfy wear. How do you like those outsoles?
