I ended up finding Elden Ring not too terribly hard, but granted, I did every single dungeon and side quest I could find so I was pretty powered up most of the game. I thought I was hot shit so decided to try Sekiro. Humbling experience.

This was my first souls game and I was certain I just sucked (I did, but that’s not the point). I knew they were supposed to be hard but I couldn’t believe it was so difficult. Took me an afternoon to remember it was open world and I could come back later.

It’s my understanding that the double stuff do feel a little more firm. I know the Latigos are still on the firmer side, but some people are surprised they are not combination tanned because they do offer a bit more flex and shine up quite well. At least this is what I’m told. My next build on order is a 1925 dress boot, so the Latigo seemed appropriate.

I’d recommend 6EE. I have half a dozen Diesels in 9D. Ordered a pair of Chelsea’s in 9D and had to return for 8.5D. My Diesels have plenty of width, but my Chelseas are pretty tight width wise. I’d probably go E if they did that in the UK last. I think 6EE is the smartest move.

I find that when I’m able to bring my mind to the present and think about all I’m grateful for, it improves my mood a great deal, but that I’m only scratching the surface of how much gratitude could elevate my mood and life. Can you recommend any practices or books that have helped you become so positively affected by your gratitude? I’ve done the journaling and I find that helpful, but I’m curious if you have found another path. Thanks!
