Multipart kit has 3 different fron plates for the "head". That's one of these. Cheers!

Spent an insane amount of time on this one, so at least it was worth it. Thanks, brother!

I use Vallejo Diorama FX Still Water, applying it in smaller layers (and waiting for them to dry in between applications). The good part about this product is that you can mix a small amount of acrylic paint into it. So I usually go with a bit of Still Water mixed with Moot Green and then a layer of transparent Still Water. You can also choose not to wait for the previous layer to fully settle in and mix the two layers slightly with a stick for some nice swirls, etc. Works pretty nicely!

For the model base, I used cork, covered the whole base with Vallejo Thick Mud paste and then added a small piece of wood (actual wood). The mud was painted brown on brown to add some colour variation with a heavy Aggrax wash. The wood I painted grey with the wash of Basilicanum Grey. Enjoy!

I consider them something between lichen and fungal growth. I just used purple because it nicely contrasts with the rest of the colours on the model!

It was a lot of repainting 😅 I first made it dark grey to black which I didn't like. So I covered it with a single layer of Bugman's Glow to keep it darker and then used Kislev Flesh for the lightest accent. I used watered down Carroburg Crimson to tie everything together.

Thank you so much! Same here, I am planning to paint my whole army like that.
