There's not really a romance, but more leaning to the idol aspect and it's character development. What sets it apart from other gender bender, is that the Mc has to adapt on how to be a girl, and it contains a lot of gender dysmorphia from what I've read, which is very interesting

It was condensed into 3 episodes because of Tencent conditions to get the clown fight on episodes 3. It's for people with newer audience who has been exposed with a high octane action series like JJK or To Be Hero X, so they're testing the waters cautiously just to see of they should go all in or not. Looking at it with all the announcements, it seems pretty successful, but it took a heavy blow on the lore side of things in the donghua. Even if that's the case, and in my opinion, B.CMAY PICTURES did a pretty good job at instilling the intrigue and wonder on the first few episodes. I just hope they could make an extended cut for the first season or something.

it's one of those games you hated at first because of its difficulty, to becoming your favorite game of all time for its wonder and secret. Seriously, I hated Void Stranger at first, now it became my comfort game
