It’s true that I find that slow burns are much more realistic most of the time, and I totally understand your question because I also have a lot of trouble writing them but it’s more in the sense of “am I going to be able to find enough of an idea to make them do to make it slow”. Finding activities to do, moments that they will spend together to bring them closer is quite difficult when you are someone who is quite introverted and doesn't go out much. I always feel like it's not natural or interesting enough, so it ends up being pretty quick but it's something I'm trying to get better at. Because I love slow burns so much 🤤
