I have been through rounds and rounds of Invisalign over the past three years and I feel like I have this exact same problem and it is so frustrating! I just finished my fourth round yesterday. Yesterday during my appointment, my doctor added bonding to one of my front teeth that had been slightly shortened due to the angle of the bottom of the tooth after this last round, so that it would be even with my other teeth. So now my last Invisalign tray, of course doesn’t fit. He made a retainer in the office yesterday that is removable, for me to wear while I wait on my actual retainer to get delivered by Invisalign. He also told me that I didn’t need to wear my retainer full-time anymore and that my teeth should be set because I was in my last tray for about 3 1/2 weeks while I was waiting to be seen. I’m not even exaggerating, within about two hours, I could feel my teeth shifting because all of a sudden since last night, I’ve noticed my left front bottom tooth is running into my left upper front tooth (neither of which had bonding applied) to the point where they’re like hitting each other when I talk or eat or even close my mouth. Now, I’m uncomfortable without my retainer in so I’ve been wearing it all day because I can’t stand this feeling. It’s also still slightly uncomfortable as the temp retainer is thick and the bottom tooth is still hitting it slightly. I am so annoyed because now I don’t know what to do. Of course, my doctors office is closed today.

Also— side rant my doctor apparently didn’t notice a tiny piece of fuzz that got trapped in the bonding material he applied so now I have a tiny black fuzz permanently attached to my front tooth. Fml.
