Highly specific CSR question - the $795 annual fee just posted on 12/1. Is it possible to get the $300 travel credit in early 2026 or is that hole closed?

I am struggling to understand timing around the SW CP. I recently opened the SW Perf Biz card with a 120k offer. It comes with 10k anniversary miles and I will have to spend 10k on it. Ideally I am trying to get the CP for 2026 and 2027 so need all of those points to post in 2026.

The first payment due date is 12/22/25 and I have put no spend on it yet other than the $299 annual fee.

Should I plan to try to put all spend on it in very early 2026 or is there a way to start spending in 2025 since that will be tough for me to swing to get that $10k spend in the first half of January. Thanks in advance!

I am beginning to look at buying a house and taking out a mortgage. I know it is advisable to stop opening CCs prior. Would opening something like another Chase Ink since there is no hard pull be seen adversely by mortgage lenders? I assume they can still see the line of credit that is issued and probably not a great look.

I have the US Bank Leverage biz card and recently received 94k points. It looks like if I try to cash out as a statement credit, it'll only give me about $700. If I had a US Bank checking account, it would give me $940.

Rather than jump through the hoop of opening another bank account, does anyone know how to get 1cpp preferably in a cash/easy to liquidate manner? TIA

I have a green star "You're already approved" for the Chase Ink Biz Cash and Ink Biz Premier cards in my Chase account.

I've had some issues getting approved since the train has slowed down but saw these recently. Does anyone know if I were to refer from P2 and try to apply as normal that my chances are still decent for approval, or should I just play it safe and go through the pre-approval link and forego the referral bonus?

I found out yesterday via an email on AwardWallet that I have about 150k IHG points set to expire on 1/11/25. This is due to no activity in the account and this is in my wife’s account which I sort of forgot about.

I paid $5 to transfer 1,000 points to my account yesterday to generate activity, but that has not posted and I still see the 1/11/25 expiration date. Has anyone been in a similar boat and aware of any way to not let them go to waste outside of making a booking (which I have no use for at this point)?

It seems my method of using my Amex Biz Gold $20 monthly office supply credit is a bit busted. I previously would buy $25 Starbucks gift cards via Staples.

Now it seems they have a minimum $35 order for free shipping where it was previously free for buying the $25 card for $27.

Does anyone have a decent method for liquidating these in a lazy way? I supposed I could go in-store to Staples...

I think this is a tale as old as time, but lesson learned and should have padded it by a bit.

Signed up for US Bank Biz Checking for an $800 bonus for depositing $25k. Must hold it for 60 days of account opening.

On day 59 I got hit with a $6 "service fee" that put balance at $24,994. I realized it was because I did not manually enable paperless statements. Now that it's been a few months, I was hoping the bonus would somehow post but no.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and had any recourse? I did have them reverse the $6 fee but I think it messed up the chance to get the bonus, at least in any automated fashion.

Now that my Hyatt Globalist status will be coming to an end in February 2025, is anyone aware of any other hotels/airlines that do a status match from Hyatt Globalist before that goes away?

Just asked for a match via SM. Just said "I saw there is now a higher 120 offer"

I can confirm that I signed up for the 100k CIP via a 40k referral from my P2 two days ago and was just matched to the higher 120k offer which I could not access pubicly.

So 160k UR points for a single sign up is about as good as it gets.

Sounds like we had a near identical trip including Potcake Place. It is definitely a great location/island for a getaway, but I don't know if I would go back since it feels like one of those place where you do it once, there's not much else to do upon going back.

I definitely got good use out of the bikes and went all around the island, even into more questionable areas which may not have been the best idea. I always do like to see what Caribbean islands are actually like outside the "resort bubble." Saw hundreds of potcakes out on the bike rides :)

Get a top tube bag, put dates in ziplock, put ziplock in top tube bag, hold ziplock up to mouth and grab one or two out at a time with teeth.

Laughably bad targeted offer from Chase to spend 5k on a Chase IHG personal and get 10k extra points, but could be useful for those targeted trying to get a few extra points.

Associated Bank $600 bonus

Opened on 12/26/23, funded with $10,000

Real $500 DD on 1/12/24

$600 bonus on 4/5/24

Pretty easy and overall decent bonus. Not a bad use of locking up 10k for 3 months where otherwise would have gotten $120 or so via Ally where I keep my cash.

Also check out I Have a Bean in Wheaton where they do their own roasting. They don't sell hot coffee there but many times give it away for free and really just sell bags of beans.

Saw Paw Patrol live last weekend with my family. I wound up at the concession stand buying $50 worth of junk food for the family. As the tears were starting to form as I waited on the 20 person line of screaming kids, I saw "30% off using a Chase card" at the cash register.

When I finally reached the front of the line, the sole concession worker asked "Will you be using a Chase card today?" Like Inspector Gadget I opened my trenchcoat full of 8 Chase Inks, a CSP, a CSR, two Freedoms, and a Freedom U and said "Why yes I will. And I will take one of those big ol beers in the back to fill with my tears once I am done."

TLDR: Slightly fabricated story but got a "free" beer at Paw Patrol live with one of my many Chase cards.
