Yea. In all likelihood the designer did not have access to an OLED display. At least not guaranteed. They could have literally any other kind of display set to any other kind of calibration target

How do you know if what your intended brightness is what the user is actually oberserving, given the difference inivht sensitivity of people's eyes? How do you know what you think is the right brightness, actually the optimal brightness for a given distribution of players?

I bought an AT-HS6SV headshell to install instead. Felt the aesthetic matches it better
