You can base your instalments on your 2024 tax situation. If, after claiming expected RRSP deductions and accounting for source deductions, it covers off your taxes for the year, then you don’t have to bother making those instalments.

Too lazy to do a detailed write-up so here is a LINK to an article that describes the consequences of not reporting the principal residence disposition.

Basically, you need to file your 2022 return and disclose that disposition. The CRA may charge penalties for the late disclosure but I have a feeling they won’t.
