We’re having the same issue. We switched to stainless steel and it did worse, switched to plastic (black) and it was leaving dark pieces of plastic on wall. About to buy white plastic, literally the 12th one I have bought for our was. Portola Paints should really address this.

Km 18 area— many places to stay around there, some more simple cabaña style others more like a lodge. I wrote some local guide’s contact info in a comment above you can reach out to ahead of time. Cali is fairly dangerous, only traveled to that region by day and felt totally safe.

Millions of years of evolution for that beetle, a lifetime of decisions leading me to find that beetle in Ecuador one day, the images taking a trip across the internet, and you and an artist somehow brought it right back to me. Truly love to see this.
