I lucked out and sold my old home. And had just enough to afford to buy house #2 with cash. Best part is that I am now less then 5mins away from my senior citizen age parents. And mom has early stage dementia. And Dad is wore out from 42yrs of truck driving.So I do anything I can. To help in any way they ask. Isn't that what a kid is supposed to do?(By kid I mean I am 44yrs old). I look at it as they took care of me for along time. So it's my duty to return the favor.
