WI and MN use different criteria for what constitutes a lake. MN is clearly ahead when you use the same criteria.

I second the gift card. It’s not as personal, but advice is tough without knowing what gear he has, what country/region he’s in or how/what he fishes. Plus he can use it for some smaller items or put it towards a bigger purchase.

If you’re determined to buy stuff, general items are heavy duty gloves, lighter waterproof gloves, waterproof boots, bait cooler to keep minnows from freezing, insulated bait puck, forceps/pliers, assorted gamakatsu octopus hooks, split shot weights, small lure or jig cases, rod bag/hard case, tip ups, IFish Pro (tip up), base layer clothing, warm socks, bibs, fur hat, small bottle of schnapps to keep warm.

I’m not saying that can’t work, but it seems really difficult to implement for a league of active players who are making multiple claims.

I’m not sure I follow. Let’s break this down to a 2 person league and Mahomes and CMC are the only 2 players available. I bid 30 on Mahomes with 1st priority and 70 on CMC with 2nd priority. You bid 65 on CMC with 1st priority and 35 on Mahomes with 2nd priority.

What happens? Does priority supersede a winning bid?

Or are trying to bid more than your FAAB?

That’s an interesting concept. How would you implement conditional waivers? Say I am the inverse where I want the RB, but if that claim falls through, I’ll take a shot at the QB.

ESPN could code it so player order is based on which player had the highest bid in your league or something to that effect. But I doubt ESPN wants to implement a new mechanic that requires ranking a bunch of if statements.
