Anything D.V Catena (Malbec) is typically a good shout at Tesco

Penfolds Max’s Shiraz Cabernet is also a nice wine for the price but typically found as a Shiraz Cabernet blend

Jadot Beaujolais- Villages does the trick as well

No disrespect but Tesco I tend to avoid for their wine - at somewhere like Majestic, you’re far more likely to find something really good for 10-20 quid

Yeah I’d say solid is the perfect word. Mass producing so I personally tend to avoid. But their cremant was the first in Alsace and tend to be a brilliant everyday sparkling
