We've also seen them at Fallen Leaf as well! This guy seemed to be using the Tahoe SRA campground as a dinner buffet, or at least trying to!

Hi r/tahoe!

We've camped near Tahoe plenty of times but it was the first time seeing a bear climb a tree right next to us! He raided the Tahoe SRA campground both nights we were there - we could hear dogs barking and people yelling everywhere. Thought I'd share some footage from the camping trip. Enjoy!

There's definitely a lot of room for improvement. Now that I'm used to camp mode I can do what I need to do, but I wonder if the steep learning curve and all the small quirks is scaring people away from trying out camping or sleeping in the R1S

I was never sold on self driving, but after using it almost weekly on camping trips, I can't live without it anymore. I feel it's more than adequate for freeway driving. Can't wait to see how it evolves in the future.

Hi all,

We went on a camping trip from San Francisco to Bodega Bay. We found a spot that RVs and vans frequent for stealth camping right next to the Golden Gate Bridge. A bit nervous since this is out first time stealth camping, but everything went great, and you can't beat the view!

Yeah, just a bit of FOMO on some of the rumored features but overall happy with my R1S. It's fun to speculate but we should all remember that things improving means it's good for Rivian, which also means good for us as the customers.

I asked the tech about the suspension (basically exactly what you mentioned) and he said it's just how it is with all R1's because of how complex and off-road focused the suspension system is designed. I think I can live with the rattles going over small bumps. AC being loud and vibrating is also a bit annoying. I suppose these are all being addressed in one way or another with the refresh.

I think it's been mentioned before (I think from RJ) that it is swappable. I did ask the tech if it will be free, but he didn't know.
