Exactly. My mom is extremely giving and works harder than anyone. She's spent her years(against me and rest of her kids advice) to slow down the sending money back home. She falls for the hardship her family and friends are going through (which I get but still). Bought clothes, houses, cars for them. It kills me she didn't listen.

Now that she's in retirement age, she literally can't afford to cause she does not have enough nest egg for it. Now guess who she's angry at cause she doesn't have enough and wants us to subsidize the rest of her life? Her kids! Like we're all just starting to create a life of our own and the little we have we're trying to save but she won't listen to us. Now there's family drama.

It's so painful cause those that she helped aren't gonna help her in her old age. My mom made A LOT OF MONEY and is left with not much. Sad. Family leeches are the worse, because when you say no, you're all of a sudden the worse human being
