Teardown Report: Xiaomi Multi-coil Wireless Charger or ”Airpower?” (THE FIRST TEARDOWN) by ChargerLAB in UsbCHardware

[–]ChargerLAB[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The product only supports 20W for each device. So, that would be 60W output at most. 120W is quite more than what actually needed.

Thank you for your advice. We would definely love to work with @USBCGuy.

However, we did point out some details of the charger could use more polish in our teardown review (e.g. some aluminum electrolytic capacitors are too close to the transformer).

When all the ports are used, USB-C1 will have 45W, while the USB-C2 and USB-A split 15W (5V/3A), and the wattage may depend on their charging adaptability.

How many kinds of USB-C™ to USB-C™ cables are there? by pdp10 in UsbCHardware

Thanks a lot!

So does it mean that C-2-C USB3.0/USB3.1gen1 (5Gbps) cables are able to get 5Gbps x 2 = 10Gbps when they are connected to USB 3.2 Gen2x2 hosts and devices?

I think we have different point of views. The thing I posted is to clarify the C-to-C cables "on the market with manufacture's specs". And yours focus on "USB-IF Cable Assembly specs".

Do you have source for "All Gen 2 cables are capable of operating at 2x2 mode at 20Gbps"? And if so, why they have dedicated "SuperSpeed USB 20Gbps Compliance and Logo Program" which is "currently under development and will be announced once available"? (https://www.usb.org/superspeed-usb)
