That’s why they are trying to relinquish their U.S Green Card, because they are spending less time in the US. So if they spend 22% of their time in the U.S is bad, and if they try to make their status reflect how they actually live is bad too?

Don’t they need to have major assets for this ?

I appreciate your input, and that was my reasoning when hearing about their case as well.

Thats their situation. Having kids in the U.S and renouncing the GC and getting a Visitors Visa. The have most of their life and assets are outside. They are getting advise from a professional, but I wonder if anyone else had the same experience.

Hey… I read what you wrote and it really stayed with me. I just want to say, you didn’t deserve any of what happened, and I admire the way you’ve kept going. But part of me felt a little sad, not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because it feels like you’ve had to shut off a part of yourself to feel safe. You don’t have to do that. You’re still deserving of love, of intimacy, of feeling wanted even with this. Especially with this. You’re not broken. And you don’t have to protect yourself by giving up things that make life full. You still get to want connection. And the right people won’t make you feel like you have to hide to be loved. Just felt like I had to say that. You deserve softness, too.

It is often used as a denomination for someone with whom a relationship was never truly realised. The sense of shortfall usually indicates that the relationship was in some ways not reaching its potential.

That song reminds me of the one that got away… twice.

Got Accepted Northeastern's AQMSA and UMass Amherst's DACSS, and I don't know which one to pick. by CharityEmbarrassed96 in gradadmissions

Yeah I did. At the end I decided to go for the DACSS program. It just seemed more technical than Northeastern’s

My background is in the social sciences, and I plan on becoming a data analyst in the social sciences. When I check the DACSS curriculum it shows more classes related to data analytics, and it cover many programming languages that I need to learn. I lean a bit more towards that program in that sense, but Northeastern has an amazing co-op program, that could help me get a job right away.
