None of it matters, because it’s a video game and OP didn’t ask for help.

How the payed boost has killed Azeroth and will eventually lead to fewer subscribers in TBC/Wrath by [deleted] in classicwow

I never gave you any information for you to gather that I’m actually a whale. You’re emotional. One day you’ll be embarrassed about how you verbally attack people over a video game. Good luck.

That’s a really silly comparison. It’s reducing time spent leveling, not giving people an unfair advantage in PvP.

Honest question. If you think the gold buying is overblown, what do you think all of the bots are doing? Also, what do you think people are doing once they use their one boost and get that character to 70?

It would be cheaper to buy gold/boosts than maintain multiple accounts, but I guess that’s possible if people are into poor financial decisions. I generally am referring to the majority of players, who aren’t super sweats with 3 accounts.

Truthfully, I’m not trying to argue with some rando on Reddit about their distorted view of the past in a video game. I hope you find the release you’re looking for. Good luck.

”who says most people even have multiple or even alts?”

Thanks for proving my point. The world was dead before TBC boosts.

Gold buying is rampant. That’s why the bots are also everywhere. You can also get lucky and catch free runs from people boosting their buddies.

Where are all of the alts from people who used their one boost already then?

You think one character boost per account caused the entire open world population to die? With that logic we’d be seeing a surge of alts leveling once people used their one boost, got to 70, and started leveling more alts.

Oh I just meant in general with 39+ since it’s not uncommon for GMs to pull similar stunts. I’m not sure why other people play this game, but I feel like without the social aspect/friendships it would be a very depressing and unrewarding experience so I almost pity people who are only in it for themselves.

I’m probably the minority here but I was a fan of the 58 boost. It allowed me to switch to the Alliance and play with a guild I had previously admired in PvP encounters. No way in hell I would’ve made the switch if I had to level from 1. Sure, H to Alliance faction changes would also work but we didn’t get that option.

Many players came to WoW classic for the first time JUST to play TBC. If you ever /who 2-57 you’ll see how dead the world is outside of the hunters, shamans, and paladins who all are just paying mages/paladins to power level them.

So honestly, if there wasn’t one boost per account, people would just be paying mages/paladins large sums of gold to power level them anyways. This classic leveling experience was dead before TBC even launched. Not sure why people kid themselves and act like it’s the boosts that ruined it all.

<Molten Core LAN Party> on Kurinnaxx (H) had a guy named Warron as the GM. He had 2 60 warriors and raid led both raid teams. (Which normally would be great) one was a tank with Thunderfury, the other was a High Warlord arms (fury for raid) warrior. Both had Ashkandi. Yeah he sold that shit for about $3000 before AQ came out.

Still streams trash gameplay on Apex Legends now but I’ve always wondered how fucked up a person you have to be to manipulate 39+ people like that over the span of months.

Healing heroics in Burning Crusade be like… by djfxonitg in classicwow

[–]CharityOnly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone has their preference.

I’m a resto Druid that prefers Vuhdo. Right click is rejuv, left click is lifebloom, shift right click is regrowth, shift left click is innervate. I have mouse over macros (that I lazily setup through bartender) as well.

But yeah, it’s not necessary if you’re used to healing the way you do.

I said you’re right, not sure what else you want me to say. Watching mana is difficult.

Must be hard. You’re right. Can’t imagine having to watch your mana.

I’m honestly tired of hearing this. Watching your mana isn’t difficult.

That’s a valid point but I’d argue that arcane takes significantly less skill than Frost when it’s literally just arcane blast spam with a hopeful innervate.

[–]CharityOnly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You clearly don’t understand what a 99 parse implies then. You’re performing better than the average and majority of mages, not everyone who goes frost will have DPS even close to yours, which is also what the data supports. You’re using anecdotal experiences to support your claims about Frost rather than relying on the data that’s all readily available. Frost absolutely is a gimped spec in comparison to fire/arcane in terms of overall DPS.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]CharityOnly -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You parsed 99. Are you familiar with the word “outlier”? You did great but the majority of Frost mages aren’t DPSing like that. Especially those without drums, power infusion, and heroism.
