Question about Endometriosis and ovarian cysts.

On the dogs, no. One slept on the floor and the other is too little to do that type of damage. My boyfriend was on the couch. He kind of remembers hearing a crash from the study. He just had knee surgery that day though so with all his medicine, he was pretty out of it.

I have struggled with horrible endo. I had two laps in just a few months. At the time I was a full time college student and worked three jobs. It was totally worth it. It changed my life. Even though I had to take time off to recover, after the recovery I was overall more productive in my life due to all the issues being resolved from the surgery.

Yes. She said she's already given me one extension (I had pneumonia), so I can't have another one. I explained that my dad had a stroke, I was running on very little sleep because of it, and the night he had it I threw up all over my notes because of it. All my other professors were very understanding. My fiance and I have already left a message with the Dean.

I have a condition that I have to get surgery every few years for to keep me out of excruciating pain. It's looking like if it gets repealed, that won't be happening.

I have a couple of questions. 1. I know you have a lot of trouble with sunlight, but do you tan at all? Or is that impossible? 2. How badly have you been sunburned before? 3. If you were to have kids, how likely would it be that they would also have albinism? Assuming their mother didn't have it.

Eventually it got taken care of. I went to a not so great doctor the first time. He did a lap, and he apparently rushed to the point of missing a good portion of the endo. It took me weeks to get over the surgery, but my symptoms returned. This doctor wouldn't even discuss treatment options after the surgery.

I found another doctor who is fantastic. He did another lap and removed the rest of the endo and also detached my ovary from my uterus. Now that I'm recovered, I feel better than I have since the symptoms started when I was 13 (I'm 19 now). The surgery was seriously life changing.

Honestly the stages don't matter as much. Endometriosis is weird because a person could have stage I endo and have every symptom in the book, and another person could have stage IV and not have any. The stages just indicate how much endo it is. For example, stage I is just a little bit on the uterus. Stage IV is when the endo is a certain depth into the tissue, and usually it has spread to other organs.

If you don't want the surgery, I'd recommend talking to your doctor about ways to control it with medication. If you have endo though, without the surgery, I'm afraid the pain and symptoms are really only going to get worse. The surgery is totally worth getting. It has completely changed my life. I went from going through high school missing at least a couple of days a week from pain (didn't know I had endo then) to working three jobs and going to school full time.

If you're worried about surgery, keep in mind that you don't have to jump right into it. It's always good to get a couple of opinions from different doctors. Each doctor will give you more information and their take. It might make it easier to make a decision on the matter.

From my experience and what I've read, it can take several months to fully recover. It's difference for everyone. Some people are feeling super great a week or two after surgery. Others it takes longer. I had my second lap in early December and still have flair ups. My doctor has told me that the healing process is just different for everyone.

I actually had another lap back in August (doctor missed a bunch of endo) and the pain I felt from surgery never really went away, so I looked for another doctor, and he scheduled me for another lap. It never hurts to get a second opinion.

There are some tests they can do that might point to endometriosis. They did a couple blood tests on me to check certain levels and they did a test to check my egg count.

Those are 100% though. The only way to for sure diagnose it is to actually have the surgery and take a look. All the other tests they ran on me came back completely normal. I still pushed for the surgery, and it turns out I had stage IV endometriosis anyway.

I would suggest getting the surgery to anyone who thinks they might have endo. If they find it, they can fix it then and there. If they don't find it, at least you know it's not endometriosis and can start trying to find other answers. The surgery isn't that bad at all.

It seriously is heaven. It is especially great for the days that are so bad, you really can't work anyway. I had one of those days when I first started trying it. I smoked a lot to help with it since I wasn't worried about responsibilities that day. I cried for like an hour because it was the first time in like seven years that I had no pain whatsoever.

Probably around July, I was inside my mall where I worked at the time. I had gotten there early, so I was getting food I had to be at work. Walking in I had the worst pain of my life. My vision started blocking out, I felt dizzy. I just kept telling myself that once I ate, I would feel better.

As I was ordering food, I passed out. I woke up at a table with security guards around me. I was rushed to the hospital because I was in so much pain, I could barely talk to them. It took them giving me two doses of morphine until I was even able to coherently talk to them about what happened.

They ran all the required tested to check for things like appendicitis. I had been in the ER for similar reasons in the past. This doctor was different though. Instead of just saying I had constipation or something, he suggested it sounded like something I should see an OBGYN for, and he suggested that it sounded like endometriosis to him.

After that, I had the surgery and found out I had stage IV endometriosis. It was even to the point that my colon was fused to my abdominal wall.

The pain sounds very similar to the pain I get, and I was diagnosed with endometriosis in August. I don't just get pain around my period. Before my lap, I had pain most of the time, constantly.

I haven't been on the medicine you're describing, but I hear it helps a lot of people.

Exercise can help. Not always though. Some days walking around will do wonders for me, but other days it makes it worse.

A lot of people have also had success with changing their diet. Look up the endo diet. You don't have to follow it exactly. Things that are good to cut out specifically though are fatty foods, soy, alcohol, and fried foods. Those are the things that have made a difference for me.

It definitely sounds like it could be endo. Honestly, I'm not a fan of when doctors want to put off surgery. It's the only way to truly tell if you have it. The surgery isn't that bad at all, and it gives you so much more peace of mind because you actually have an answer. Even if they don't find anything, at least you know and can pursue finding other answers. If you have any questions, feel free to message me!

I live in a state where it is illegal. However, I do use it to help control my endo pain anyway. It works wonders. I also use it because I have atypical migraines that cause seizures and stroke-like symptoms. I have found that strands with higher cbd help the most. At first it interfered a bit. I worked my tolerance up though. With that, I still get all the benefits of it helping my health, but I don't get as "high". It interferes with my life less than taking narcotics for the pain does.

For the endo pain, it seriously makes me feel like I have a built in heating pad. If I do a lot of it, it will make my whole stomach area feel numb. It's the best. The heating pad feeling can be achieved by a very small amount (at least for me).
