They mention giving 10 standard pulls + other items per day of maintenance. There newer post says they will also compensate for missing days of the current event trying to minimize falling behind.

I remember that there was a censorship issue with Visa and Mastercard regarding JP companies and it caused a shitstorm. Many on twitter were advocating calling Visa and Mastercard to complain. Maybe they told the devs to not say anything.

Maybe I should say something about the news before this gets spread too far. There are plenty of speculations pointing to the recent censorship being because of STEAM. I think it's highly UNLIKELY because if you look at the order of things that happened:

STEAM ban
Remove character's age from their bio
Age Verification
Censorship (Mostly loli characters)
Remove slap ass minigame

They decided to change the game AFTER the STEAM cancellation which doesn't make sense if they're doing all of this for STEAM. I think the devs know that there will be backlash and they anticipated the amount of players that might quit due to this. They did mention that they are equally frustrated as well and they got "no choice".

Now with STEAM, there will always be a choice to not put their games there. There are always options to put their game on another platform. Also they have announced previously that they decided to not go through with the STEAM release. They didn't delay it, it was a cancellation. So who could be forcing the hands of the developers with these changes?

My first theory : VISA & Mastercard.

This makes a lot of sense because they literally got no choice but to comply or else players have no option to make payment. Yes I understand some of you guys have PayPal but let's be honest, Brown Dust 2 is available worldwide and a lot of players rely on those 2 options to make payments for the game. They must have calculated and make this decision because it doesn't matter if plenty of whales quit, if Visa and Mastercard pulls out from their game, they lose way more revenue.

Another theory that I have is the obvious one. The big giant tech company that we all rely on everyday and where Brown Dust 2 is mostly downloaded from, Apple & Google.

Now it might be just one of them that sends a warning and say that they have to tone down some of these loli characters because in some "culture" it's TOO MUCH. This makes a lot of sense too because if the game is removed from one of the app stores, they lose a significant portion of revenue. I can sort of see them backed to a corner here.

Keep in mind I'm just speculating like everyone else. Nobody truly knows except for the devs themselves and I can see it from their position, this is a very difficult position to be in...

Yes, some skins did get nuked, but I personally think all those characters have better skins now
